Fault Tolerant MPI Applications with ULFM
SESSION: Fault Tolerant MPI Applications with ULFM
EVENT TYPE: Birds of a Feather
EVENT TAG(S): Programming Systems, Resiliency
TIME: 3:30PM - 5:00PM
SESSION LEADER(S):George Bosilca, Keita Teranishi
ROOM:13A
ABSTRACT:
With recent evolutions of the ULFM MPI implementation, fault tolerant MPI has become a reality. This BoF is intended as a forum between early adopting users, willing to share their experience and discuss fault tolerance techniques; new and prospective users, that want to discover the fault tolerance features now available in MPI and the current best practice; and ULFM developers presenting recent developments and sketching the future roadmap according to user's needs.
Join the meeting to see how your application could circumvent the pitfalls of Exascale platforms and voice your opinion on the future of fault tolerance in MPI.
Session Leader Details:
George Bosilca (Primary Session Leader) - University of Tennessee
Keita Teranishi (Secondary Session Leader) - Sandia National Laboratories
