DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:ABSTRACT: The Green500 encourages sustainable supercomputing by raising awareness in the energy efficiency of such systems. This BoF will present evolving metrics, methodologies, and workloads for energy-efficient HPC, trends across the Green500 and highlights from the latest Green500 List. In addition, the BoF will review results from implementing more rigorous Green500 run rules as of Nov’15.  These changes include requiring that average power be measured over the entire core run, that the network interconnect be included, and that a larger fraction of nodes be instrumented. The BoF will close with an awards presentation, recognizing the most energy-efficient supercomputers in the world.
